Role description:

The QA Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Daily Testing Operations:

• Leading and coordinating the daily testing activities of the QA team.
• Ensuring all testing tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
• Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the testing process.

2. Maintaining Testing Strategy:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive testing strategy.
• Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensuring the testing strategy aligns with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

3. Stakeholder Communication:

• Acting as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters.
• Providing regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of testing activities.

4. Managing Testing Approach:

• Defining and managing the overall testing approach, including the types of tests to be performed and the tools to be used.
• Overseeing the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Ensuring comprehensive test coverage across all aspects of the application.

Long-term goal:

Automating a range of test scenarios at different levels of the application, including unit, integration, functional, smoke, load, and end-to-end (E2E) tests. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA and testing.
