We are looking for an experienced AxiomSL Tester / QA Engineer to join a long-term project supporting an AxiomSL RegCloud implementation for a leading financial institution.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, reliability, and quality of regulatory calculations and reporting delivered through AXIOM solutions.

You will work closely with Business Analysts, AxiomSL Configurators, Developers, and other QA professionals to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, validate complex data flows, investigate defects, and ensure that regulatory reporting meets both business and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements and ControllerView configurations into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Design, prepare, execute, and validate testing strategies for AxiomSL regulatory reporting solutions
• Test and validate complex data flows, aggregations, calculations, and processing rules within AxiomSL
• Perform end-to-end data reconciliation and data-mapping validation from source to target systems
• Conduct data-quality checks and validate data transformations and ETL processes
• Verify regulatory report outputs, including XML, XBRL, and CSV formats
• Validate exception-management workflows against business and regulatory specifications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Configurators, Developers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues
• Validate data lineage, metadata definitions, and data-governance controls within the ControllerView platform
• Ensure testing deliverables meet organizational standards for quality, traceability, auditability, and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices

Requirements:

Professional Experience

• 3-5 years of in software QA/testing, preferably with a strong focus on AxiomSL ControllerView implementations
• Hands-on experience testing and validating AxiomSL ControllerView applications
• Experience working with regulatory reporting frameworks, compliance requirements, and localized regulatory reporting
• Strong background in backend, database, and data-centric testing
• Proven ability to analyze complex data flows and identify discrepancies between source and target systems
• Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, or ALM
• Strong analytical, logical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• Advanced English proficiency

AxiomSL / ControllerView Expertise

Hands-on experience testing and validating:

• Data models and metadata management

SQL & Data Management

• Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex data-validation queries

• Ability to investigate data discrepancies and trace issues through complex data pipelines

Nice to Have:

• Experience testing solutions in managed cloud environments, particularly Nasdaq RegCloud
• Previous experience working with capital markets platforms
• Experience with multi-jurisdictional regulatory reporting initiatives
• Previous experience in highly regulated banking or financial-services environments
• Familiarity with ETL or data-testing automation tools and frameworks
• ISTQB certification or another software-testing certification
• Intermediate Spanish proficiency
