We are looking for a Virtual Environment Engineer to join a project focused on embedded systems and ARM64 platform virtualization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing virtual environments and collaborating with BSP, architecture, and system integration teams.
Responsibilities
- Developing and improving virtualization environments for embedded platforms based on ARM64, Yocto, and Android Automotive
- Defining and standardizing virtualization processes in BSP and system integration areas
- Validating compatibility between virtual and physical environments and analyzing differences
- Debugging systems using logs, kernel traces, and Device Tree analysis
- Investigating and resolving issues related to hardware abstractions, stubs, and co-simulation
- Collaborating with technical teams and creating documentation and best practices
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in embedded systems virtualization and system analysis
- Strong knowledge of QEMU (ARM64), Linux (Ubuntu preferred), Yocto, and Android Automotive (AGL/AAOS)
- Experience with BSP, Device Tree, Linux Kernel, drivers, boot flow, and SoC architecture (MMIO, DMA, interrupts)
- Strong debugging skills and experience with Root Cause Analysis
- Experience with Linux tools used for debugging, analysis, and software development (including dmesg, perf, ftrace, trace-cmd, dtc, fdtdump, readelf, objdump, nm, strings, Meson, GDB)
- Knowledge of co-simulation technologies, shared memory, and socket-based backends
- Ability to automate processes using Shell Scripting
- Strong analytical skills, independence, and problem-solving mindset
- Very good command of English (B2 minimum)
