We are looking for 2 experienced Azure Platform Engineers to join a large-scale modernization program within the financial services sector.

The program combines Generative AI, legacy and mainframe modernization, cloud transformation, data migration, and modern software architecture. You will be part of an experienced international team delivering secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-scale Azure platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing Azure platform architectures
• Developing and maintaining Azure Landing Zones
• Implementing cloud governance, security, and compliance standards
• Designing and managing cloud networking and security solutions
• Working with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Implementing and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code
• Developing and maintaining platform APIs and reusable platform services
• Supporting application teams in adopting cloud-native technologies
• Ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence of the platform
• Collaborating with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, security specialists, and other technical teams

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

• 5 years in cloud/platform engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Solid knowledge of Azure platform architecture and Landing Zones
• Experience with Azure governance, security, networking, and IAM
• Practical experience with AKS / Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Understanding of cloud security and enterprise architecture principles
• Experience working in large-scale or regulated environments, preferably financial services
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a distributed, international team
• Good English communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure Policy, Management Groups, Azure Monitor, and Defender for Cloud
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or similar IaC technologies
• Experience designing internal developer platforms
• Knowledge of platform engineering and self-service cloud capabilities
• Experience with API management and platform APIs
• Familiarity with modern cloud-native architectures and microservices
• Previous experience in banking, insurance, or other highly regulated industries
