On behalf of our client, a global leader in their industry, we are seeking a highly skilled Project / Program Manager to spearhead a large-scale Data Center service provider transition. This critical role involves leading the end-to-end onboarding of a new Managed Service Provider (MSP) across Europe and APAC regions. You will be responsible for orchestrating the seamless migration of infrastructure from incumbent providers, ensuring that operational stability, governance, and compliance remain uncompromised throughout this global transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of a large-scale Data Center transition program across EU & APAC.
  • Program Governance: Leading Steering Committees (SteerCo), managing RAID logs, reporting, and high-level escalation management.
  • Infrastructure Transition: Coordinating site readiness and the technical migration of assets.
  • MSP Onboarding: Managing service provider transition and structured Knowledge Transfer (KT).
  • Operational Readiness: Validating ITIL service management processes, Disaster Recovery (DR), monitoring, access controls, and CMDB accuracy.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensuring alignment with audit requirements, security standards, and GDPR.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Acting as the primary liaison between IT, business units, and external vendors.
  • Transition Lifecycle: Managing the critical cutover phase, Hypercare, and formal handover to "Steady State" operations.

Requirements (Must have):

  • Senior/Expert Experience: Proven track record in managing large-scale, global IT infrastructure programs.
  • Transition Specialist: Direct experience in Data Center migrations or MSP-to-MSP transition programs.
  • Process Mastery: Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and service transition methodologies.
  • Global Delivery: Experience operating in multi-country environments (specific experience with APAC/EU regulations and time zones is a plus).
  • Vendor & Risk Management: Strong ability to hold service providers accountable while managing complex risk profiles.

Optional (Nice-to-Have):

  • Tooling: Experience with ServiceNow or similar Enterprise ITSM platforms.
  • Technical Breadth: Foundational knowledge of IAM/PAM, DR orchestration, and monitoring tools.
  • Modern Infrastructure: Understanding of Hybrid Cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) to support automation-led transitions.
