Are you a Python enthusiast ready to build robust backend systems and cloud-based applications? At Square One, we are expanding our backend engineering team and are currently looking for multiple Python Developers to join our clients’ international, forward-thinking projects.
Role Overview
As a Python Developer, you will contribute to the development of scalable backend services, improve existing systems, and play a crucial role in designing, testing, and deploying modern software solutions. You’ll work with modern frameworks and DevOps tools in a collaborative, agile environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing solutions using Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask)
- Participating in system architecture planning and module design
- Optimizing the performance of existing systems and refactoring for efficiency
- Conducting code reviews and validating software quality
- Creating and updating technical and functional documentation
- Supporting acceptance testing and the deployment of IT systems
- Collaborating with teams on DevOps, cloud deployment, and infrastructure readiness
What You Bring?
We are looking for developers who combine technical excellence with problem-solving drive:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development using Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask)
- At least 1 year of experience with DevOps tools, including AWS or GCP, and Docker/Kubernetes
- Strong experience in REST API design and implementation
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other relational/non-relational databases
- Ability to write efficient, modular, and clean code
- Understanding of Enterprise architecture patterns
- Proficient in English (B2+ level) for both written and verbal communication
