This is an opportunity to work on a technically challenging project where modern C , Qt, software architecture, testing, and code quality are at the heart of the development process. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers, contribute to a large codebase, influence technical decisions, and develop software used in an international environment.

We are looking for a Senior C / Qt Developer to join an international project focused on developing modern desktop applications using C and Qt.

You will work on a large-scale codebase, contributing to the development of high-quality software while having a real impact on architecture, code quality, testing, and the overall evolution of the product.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing modern, reliable desktop applications using C and Qt
  • Designing and implementing new features and improving existing functionality
  • Working with QML where applicable
  • Contributing to software architecture and technical decisions
  • Maintaining and improving a large existing codebase
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Participating in code reviews and continuous integration processes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve code quality, performance, and development processes
  • Working independently, planning tasks, and taking ownership of deliverables
  • Collaborating with an international team in an Agile environment

Requirements:

  • Several years of professional experience with C
  • Strong knowledge of modern C and software engineering principles
  • Practical experience with Qt and desktop application development
  • Knowledge of QML is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of software design, architecture, and development best practices
  • Experience working with large codebases
  • Good knowledge of Windows or macOS development environments
  • Experience with testing, Continuous Integration (CI), and code review
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage your own tasks
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Comfortable working in an international organization
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a genuine interest in building high-quality software

Nice to Have:

  • Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
  • Experience working on large-scale software projects and codebases
  • Previous experience in Agile software development
  • Strong interest in software architecture and engineering practices
