- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architectures using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake)
- Lead and support migration activities from Azure Synapse to Databricks
- Develop and optimize Databricks SQL Warehouses for analytics and BI workloads
- Build and maintain semantic models supporting enterprise reporting and self-service analytics
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver high-quality Power BI datasets and dashboards
- Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries for large-scale analytical workloads
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across the analytics platform
- Contribute to architecture decisions, engineering standards, and best practices
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, SQL)
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms
- Experience migrating data platforms, ideally from Azure Synapse to Databricks
- Experience with Power BI, including semantic modeling and datasets
- Strong understanding of Kimball methodology, star schemas, and data warehousing best practices
- Very good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- English level: B2 or higher
