Senior Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst / Associate Product Owner to join the Elevate Programme and support the rollout of a modern Mobile Messaging technology stack. This hybrid role combines deep technical business analysis with product ownership responsibilities, acting as the bridge between business needs and technical execution.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Enterprise and Solution Architects, Development Teams, and external vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring smooth delivery within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Engineering & Backlog Management

• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed, development-ready user stories.
• Define functional and technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and user scenarios.
• Co-own and continuously refine the product backlog together with the Product Owner.
• Act as Proxy Product Owner for designated technical domains when required.

Technical Analysis & Solution Design

• Analyze business processes and technical constraints to define optimal solution options.
• Create system workflows, process maps, data models, and API specifications.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects during solution design.
• Validate vendor-delivered solutions and ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.

Agile Delivery & Development Support

• Support Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to development teams by answering functional and technical questions.
• Prepare test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management

• Perform requirements elicitation, gap analysis, feasibility assessments, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the organization.
• Support prioritization activities by preparing backlog items for Product Owner decisions.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years as a Technical Business Analyst, IT Consultant, or similar role.
• Strong experience working alongside Solution or System Architects.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Experience creating process maps, technical documentation, and functional specifications.
• Hands-on experience with diagramming, wireframing, or UI design tools.
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional Agile teams.
